Lahori Style Fried Fish

Winter Special recipe: “Lahori Fish Fry” easy homemade fish masala.

Ingredients:

– Fish 2 lbs

– Garlic (lehsan) 300 grams

– Roasted & crushed coriander (bhuna koota dhaniya) 2 tsp

– Roasted & crushed cumin (bhuna koota zeera) 2 tsp

– Carom seeds (ajwain) 1 tsp

– Red chili (lal mirch) 1.5 tsp or to taste

– Black pepper (kali mirch)1.5 tsp

– Turmeric (haldi) ¼ tsp

– Lemon juice (limoo ka rus) 4-5 tbsp

– Gram flour (besan) 6 tbsp

– Flour (aata) 5 tbsp

– Water (pani) as required

For sauce

– Tomato ketchup ½ cup

– Chili sauce 1 tsp

– Salt (namak) to taste (has e zaiqa)

– Sugar (cheeni) 1/2 tsp

– Black pepper (kaali mirch) 1/2 tsp

– Vinegar (sirka) 1/2 tsp

– Soy sauce 1/2 tsp

– Chopped onion 2-3 tbsp

– Water as required (pani hasb e zaroorat)
