Chicken Chowmein

Made with tender noodles (egg noodles, chow mein, or spaghetti), fresh sautéed veggies, juicy chicken, and a simple yet delicious savory sauce! This Chow Mein Recipe is just like what you get at your favorite Chinese restaurant, but it’s made at home in under 30 minutes! YES, you can make it at home just like a restaurant-style chow mein. Ingredients:

Chicken Marination:

– Chicken cut into strips

– Baking soda 1 Tsp

– Salt to taste – Soy sauce 1 Tbsp

– White pepper ¼ tsp

– Black pepper 1 Tsp

Sauce Mixture:

– Oyster sauce 2 Tbsp

– Soy sauce 2 Tbsp

– Red chili sauce 1 Tbsp

– White vinegar 1 ½ Tp

– Sesame seed oil 1 ½ Tsp

– Honey 1 Tsp

Veggies:

– Garlic 3 cloves chopped

– Ginger 2-inch julienne cut

– Red pepper ½ fine julienne cut

– Green pepper ½ fine julienne cut

– Red chili to taste julienne cut

– Cabbage 1 cup fine julienne cut

– Carrot small piece julienne cut

– Green onions Sesame seeds for garnishing (optional)

Noodles: you can use spaghetti, egg noodles or chow mein noodles.
