Korean Shrimp Fried Rice

Korean Shrimp Fried Rice (Saewoo Bokumbop) is a fairly easy dish to cook, and there are various combinations of ingredients that can be included along with shrimps.  Usually, small-sized shrimps are sautéed along with chopped onions, carrots, cucumber and green peas in a mixture of steamed rice, mixed with scrambled eggs and chopped green onions. Sprinkle sesame seeds before serving and enjoy.

Ingredients:

  • Rice (boiled) 2 Cups
  • OIl 1/2 Cup
  • Salt (namak) to taste
  • Black pepepr (kali mirch) 1 Tsp
  • Oyster Sauce 1 Tbsp
  • Sesame seed oil 1 Tbsp
  • Egg 2
  • Carrot (chopped) 1/2 cup
  • Onion (chopped) 1/2 Cup
  • Cucumber (chopped) 1/2 cup
  • Green onion (chopped) 2
  • Green peas (optional)
  • Sesame seeds as required
