Nankhatai

Delicious, light & crispy melt-in mouth Nankhatais.

There are different recipes for nankhatais, in this recipe, I’m using gram flour (besan) with all-purpose flour (maida). Other variations include different combinations of flour and sooji. Try this quick & simple recipe and enjoy it with tea!

Ingredients

  • Ghee ½ Cup or as needed
  • All-Purpose Flour (maida) 1 Cup
  • Gram Flour (besan) 2 Tbsp
  • Powdered Sugar 1 Cup
  • Baking Soda ½ Tsp
  • Egg Yolk 2 (optional) this will give the golden color
  • Nuts; almonds, pistachios, peanuts (OPTIONAL)
