Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs Minced meat Beef/mutton
  • 1/2 Onion
  • Green chilies per taste
  • 1 Bread slice
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp Yogurt
  • Blend everything together mix yogurt and make koftas.
  • You can also freeze the koftas

INGREDIENTS for GRAVY:

  • Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 Star anise
  • 4 Cloves
  • 4 Black pepper
  • 1/2 cup fried onion
  • 1 cup Yogurt 1 cup
  • 3 tbsp Tomato paste or use 1 tomato
  • Salt to taste
  • 1.2 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika Kashmiri lal mirch
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds

Instructions
 

Kofta

  • Blend everything together, mix yogurt and make koftas.You can also freeze the koftas

Gravy

  • Blend fried onion, yogurt and tomatoes together and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add gg paste, whole spices (don’t add cumin seeds at this point) and sauté for a min.
  • Next add salt, turmeric, paprika, red chili powder, cumin powder and coriander powder. Sauté all spices for a min.
  • Add the blended onions, yogurt and tomato paste.
  • Cook (bhunofy) the masala, give water splashes as needed.
  • Once the masala is cooked add water, and add koftas one at a time. Keep the flame medium-low
  • After 7-8 mins flip the koftas gently, cover and cook until it’s done.
  • Garnish with coriander, green chillies and garam masala.
  • Serve warm with roti, rice or naan.
