Fried Fish/Lahori Fish Fry Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1000 g Fish
  • 1 tbsp Garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Red chili flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Carom seeds
  • 1 tbsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander pwoder
  • 1/2 tsp Red chili powder or to tase
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Wash and dry the fish.
  • Rub garlic paste and lemon juice and leave it for 20 mins
  • Mix all the spices mentioned above together. Adjust the salt and spices according to your taste.
  • Rub the spice mix all over the fish and marinate for 1-2 hours at least.
  • At this stage you can freeze the fish.
  • Heat oil in a large pan and fry the fish on medium heat until it turns golden.
  • Enjoy with naan, salad and chutney.
